Our creative workshops

Since 1981, the creative workshops of Dominique Denaive have brought to life a world where material becomes emotion.

Born in Paris, at the heart of the French artistic effervescence, the workshops have developed a unique signature around costume jewelry in resin: luminous, bold, and timeless creations.

Now based in Mauritius, the workshops draw from a new palette of inspirations.

The light of the ocean, tropical colors, and the island’s softness meet Parisian elegance and artisanal know-how inherited from over forty years of creation.

Each piece of jewelry is imagined as a miniature sculpture. The resin transforms, colors, and is hand-shaped to reveal unique pieces with deep reflections and organic volumes. Transparencies, subtle shades, and bursts of light compose a creative language recognizable to all.

More than an accessory, each creation tells a story: that of an artisanal gesture, a passion for material, and a free vision of beauty.

From Parisian workshops to Mauritian shores, Dominique Denaive continues to shine a singular, poetic, and deeply vibrant art of jewelry.

1981 Start of activity.

Created and manufactured in a workshop on rue Mazarine in Paris.

1985 New Premises

Acquisition of a property, "Les Griblets" in Ecouen with workshops, offices, and showroom.

1999 Dominique Denaive jewelry collection

Relaunch of the Dominique Denaive jewelry collection. Participation in the Bijorhca and Première Classe trade shows.

2007 Establishment of a company in Mauritius (Indian Ocean)

CHICOULEUR LTEE, production and creation of resin jewelry exclusively for DOMINIQUE DENAIVE.

Handcrafted in our workshops, it reveals plays of transparency, intense pigments, and precious inclusions such as mother-of-pearl or gold powder.

Poured, sanded, and carefully polished, it transforms into unique, luminous, and expressive resin jewelry, where every detail tells the artisan’s touch.

"Creating a piece of jewelry is above all about creating an emotion.

Resin allows me to play with light, colors, and transparencies to bring to life pieces that are vibrant and unique.

My inspirations come from art, travel, Paris where it all began, and now from the light of Mauritius. Since 1981, I have been creating with the same passion: imagining jewelry that reveals a personality and tells a story."
